Tyler Grant Utley, age 28, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Stafford Hospital Center in Stafford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8213 Linton Hall Road, Gainesville, VA 20155 with the Reverend Francis Peffley as celebrant.
Tyler was born on December 1, 1981 in Shreveport, LA, a son of Robert Utley and Teresa Hoefling. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping and walking the dogs along the river. He was also a “tinkerer”, helping his dad do odd jobs around the house. He would always find time for a game of pool. He thought the greatest gift he could give was to be an organ donor. His unselfishness will directly saved the lives of up to 16 people and indirectly affect hundreds of their family and friends.
Tyler is survived by wife, Sarita Salinas Utley; his father, Robert Utley and wife Susan of Front Royal; his mother, Teresa Hoefling of FL; his sons, Tyler Haven Utley, and Nelson Stefano Renteros; his daughter, Emmersyn Roan Utley; his brother, Brandon Justin Utley and wife Brooke of Ft. Belvoir, his sisters, Savannah Renee Warren of Charlottesville and Kimberly Ann Utley of Ft. Belvoir; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Hilde Utley of Dade City, FL; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Virginia Hoefling of Morton, IL; his niece, Sierra Michelle Utley; and his nephew, Michael Dennis Utley.
